Walk to the pool

It takes me about 10 mn to walk to the pool. I leave the hotel (above)...

10 mn, c'est le temps qu'il me faut pour rejoindre a pieds la piscine de Chevreuse.This is what I can see on the way - check out the castle in the distance.

Peu de monde sur le chemin, mais les vaches sont assidues a la tache!
Et une fois a la piscine, un malheureux survolait la vallee - trop dur la vie.

I need to get pictures of some houses, castles and so on in the area - quite amazing.

We found it!

We found our dream house, and we'll move in late July, early August - still tbc

Alors que j'ai retrouve Olivier, mon frere, pour nager a Versailles (3.3 km), j'ai aussi vu Guntar, ou Olivier plutot - un autre ancien de l'ACBB, et triathlete a ses heures comme certains...

Here is Olivier, a former teammate from Boulogne Billancourt. He races in triathlon as well... I saw him as I went swimming in Versailles with my brother. Had a hard time keeping up!

As the boys felt sad about my departure, Sandy got them a fluffy thingy... they both picked dogs.

Les garcons etaient assez tristes de me voir partir. Aussi Sandy leur a laisse choisir une peluche. Un chien dans les 2 cas.

Sullivan a un peu amuse quand a la taille de la bete... Heureusement qu'on n'a pas a le nourrir celui-la!

Tattoo parlor

Jun, Sandy's friend from the Theater, took us with his son & friend to a famous tattoo artist... Jun is in red on the far right.

Jun, en rouge a droite, nous a amene chez une celebre artiste tatoueur(se).

Des clients, en cours - Still under construction!

Elle recevait en meme temps qui nous son maitre - sensei - tatoueur. Tous les 2 sont jeunes et veulent changer l'image du tatouage au Japon, tjs associe aux Yakuza (mafia japonaise).

On notera (pour les tri geeks) qu'ils comparent leur instruments (traditionels) - baton sur lequel ils fixent l'aiguille: a l'ancienne. Une est en bois, une en alu, et la derniere, en carbone!!!

Her tattoo master was there too. As they were discussing about equipment (traditional tattoo stick), do note that one of the them is in CARBONE! Must be fast! : o

Anniversaire de Sullivan - voitures ecolo - ca marche a l'eolienne ou au solaire. Et en plus, ca utilise de la main d'oeuvre franco-americaine, mineure, et bien sur non remuneree! : )

La petite souris en a amene une (voiture) a Guerlain aussi, compte tenu de toutes les dents qu'il perd (sur les cotes)

Derniere sortie a Shinagawa - pas tres joli comme coin mais absolument genial pour l'entrainement en triathlon

Ma photo preferee car tous ceux qui sont venus au Japon ont pu voir les parkings voiture ascenseurs. Mais peu ont vu ce type de collection de remorques de semi... Le tout en couleur arc en ciel!

And the final stretch, where we sprinted our gutts out! I won a few, lost many. But boy it was fun.
Well, fun was real with Fred and Alain whom made the race unfair! But we did learn a great deal from them. Especially Didier! : )
La ligne droite des sprints. Un grand moment dans la sceance. Au dernier tour ou a tous les tours, on lachait les chevaux!
Vraiment sympa, sauf quand Fred ou Alain etaient la. C'etait alors la course au podium, non plus la victoire!
Mais nous avons appris beaucoup d'eux, en particulier dans les virages, hein Didier!?
